Christmas Postal Cut Off and Holiday Period

Every year Australia Post and other freight partners deliver millions of parcels across Australia.

Typically, we find that our dispatches make it to where they are destined to go, however, during the December period where there are Black Friday and Christmas pressures on the postal system  items can take longer to arrive, somtimes after Christmas and the New Year.

As such, we have a Christmas close date that is earlier than the published Australia Post dates and we encourage our Customers who are purchasing gifts or wanting their items for the holiday period, to shop EARLY.

This year our suggested close date is Monday 16 December.

Once your order leaves the warehouse its movement through the postal system is beyond out control. We strongly encourage Customers to purchase our Shipping Protection to insure your parcel against theft, damage or loss. Without it we at Up On The Rooftop are unable to provide replacement or refund and we will not be able to pursue any claim on your behalf. Replacements or refunds under the Shipping Protection  will only take place after an investigation is logged with Australia Post in an effort to locate the parcel, seek recompense and to prevent a cross-over between replacement and the recovery of the parcel but are not contingent upon recovery as per the insurance taken.

We will close for the holidays from Monday 23 December until Friday 17 January. Orders will still be taken but will be processed less frequently until our return.
